About eCIO

All Nonprofits Should Have Access to High-Quality, Low-Cost Investment Management

United by a common interest in creating innovative, client-centric solutions for under-served investors, our team came together and founded eCIO to democratize institutional, low-cost investment solutions. By utilizing the latest technology, investment programs once reserved for only very large institutions are now accessible to nonprofits of any size.

With decades of experience in the investment management industry, our team built eCIO to solve these problems:

  • 92% of nonprofits are small¹ and have limited investment advisory options
  • 1.34% is the average investment fee paid by nonprofits with < $25 million²
  • 46 year average annual returns of endowments with  <$25 million have underperformed their benchmarks³

eCIO is privileged to partner with many amazing foundations, endowments, and nonprofits that support inspiring missions critical to the well-being of communities around the world. We offer a holistic approach to serving nonprofit organizations that goes beyond asset management. Our team partners with your organization to provide not only a customized investment solution, but also valuable services to help you grow your financial resources and to serve your board or oversight committee.

In addition to our professional commitment to nonprofits, our investment advisors are all engaged personally in supporting nonprofit organizations as active members and board members.
